I just can't hold the excitement in any longer. I've got to release it! I came across George Tandy Jr. (I want to call him Marcus for some odd reason) while listening to the Bay's top R&B station. When I heard Tandy's hit song "March" for the 1st time my heart literally "popped" out my chest! The song is BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! "March" takes me back to when I played Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" (my favorite MJ song/Tandy's too) repeatedly for like...EVER! I thought I was Michael Jackson for a few years or so back in the day but that's another story.

"March" took me on an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end, covering the topic of romantic love to the everyday struggles of life. The song is so powerful I had to share it with family and friends. I had my family watch the video a few times. My 6 year old nephew was glued to Youtube. He said, "Auntie, play it again." When he woke up the next morning, the first thing he did was come into my bedroom and asked me to play the video again. This time he asked me for a Red Piano! *smile* At that moment I knew I had to reach out to Tandy.

So...I did. I instagramed Tandy letting him know the effect he had on me and my nephew. He responded "wooo! Thank you! Get that lil man a red piano. Lol clouds, huh? Nice." I had mentioned that I liked the way he pronounced the word cloud in his song :)

A few days after that, with the song still heavily in my heart, me singing it at the top of my lungs around the house and banging on the bed as though I'm playing the piano (my son calls it the remix), I messaged Tandy again. This time I told him that "I will interview him. I put it out into the universe and claimed it." He said, "cool." :)

To be continued...

P.S. I still have "March" on repeat.

P.S.S. George, if by chance you're reading this, I hope it makes you smile and brings sunshine to your day!
