R Kelly's Black Panties

Most woman love sexy black panties but will they love R Kelly's latest album, Black Panties?

Honey Love, She's Got That Vibe, Bump N Grind and Your Body's Callin' are the R Kelly songs that I will forever hold close. I guess I'm a bit nostalgic. Nah, I'm very nostalgic.

Black Panties dropped on December 12 and I recently had the chance to sit down and give it my full undivided attention. Well, kind of...I was researching my next interviewee, but that's a different story. Anywho, I hadn't heard much about the album and I didn't look at any reviews prior to listening. I did make a mistake though. I set an expectation of the album thinking that it would be reminisce of his past works. Quite the contrary, in my humbled opinion.

The album's first track has a good sound and the lyrics, though raw, didn't make my stomach queasy. Rapper/Actor, Ludacris dropped bars making the song a bit tastier.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to listen to each song due to the explicit lyrics. The entire album is SEX. Kelly leaves nothing to the imagination, no mystery whatsoever, it's plain and simple...SEX. Track 1, 9 & 13 are my top picks.

I wish the album had a few classier tracks on it. Maybe next time round. Check it out for yourself and tell me your thoughts. Happy Listening!
