John Michael 2.0

I firmly believe that what you put out into the universe you will receive. After hearing John Michael’s latest album entitled Sophisticated and becoming completely addicted to it, playing it over and over and over again, I knew I was going to interview him. I shot him a tweet…let me pull it up…@4JohnMichael would love to do a quick interview with you when you get to SF. Can we make that happen? DM me to let me know. Thanx! He responded, hey I’d love to do one with you! And the rest is history.

He came into town November 15th for the November 16th Hot Winter Night concert which he opened for K-Ci &JoJo and Keith Sweat at the Paramount in Oakland, CA. We planned our meeting for 3pm November 15th. At about 2pm on the day of the interview, I tweeted him…on my way @4JohnMichael! He tweeted back…see you soon.

I must admit I was a little nervous. Meeting someone for the first time and not knowing what to expect gave me butterflies. We greeted one another at the hotel lobby and we were both all smiles.

In my previous post titled John Michael, I asked, “Who is John Michael?” Well, he answered that question for me. He stated, “He’s a dedicated individual, just a man like his song on his album says, and a regular guy that really works hard to get what he wants.” From my observation, he’s crazy cool, laid back, down to earth, open, smart and extremely talented! I could go on and on but I’m not because the video will tell it all. Stay tuned!
